Mobile intake

The borrower taps submit. The loan is already in your queue.

The integrated mobile app writes straight into the LOS. No exports, no "push to LOS" button, no re-keying. The loan starts and shows in the LOS and POS queues the moment the borrower submits.

Back office built in

Funded in the LOS. Booked in accounting.

Mark a loan funded and the journal entries post themselves. Plaid reconciles the bank every day, and bills pay in one click through Today Payments, Inc. HR runs in the same system, with a time clock and user rights management.

About

Built by a lender, for lenders.

James (Jim) BeechIn mortgage lending since 1994

James Beech has spent more than 30 years in mortgage lending. In 1994 he founded a wholesale mortgage lender in Utah, led it as CEO, and later sold it. The lender bought and sold residential mortgage loans across the country. Before mortgages, he ran a furniture business, and he studied chemical engineering at the University of Utah.

His lender began moving to a virtual business environment in 1998, and in 2005 it pioneered a paperless mortgage underwriting process. DirectWare grew out of that work. It was the holistic loan origination system the lender built and ran its own loans on, automating underwriting, compliance review and each step of the file from credit report to closing.

James has long pushed to automate nearly every part of mortgage lending. On the Pioneers AI podcast in 2023, he described building AI that lenders can trust, based on verified data, rules that decide the way an experienced underwriter would, and human oversight. Direct Services, LLC is now bringing DirectWare to other lenders.

FAQ

Questions lenders ask

How much does DirectWare cost?

DirectWare is priced per closed loan, so you pay when you close loans rather than per seat. Pricing details are coming soon; join early access to hear first.

How long does it take to launch?

Lenders can be live in 30 days. Because DirectWare is one hosted system, there is no separate POS, pricing, e-sign, HR or accounting vendor to integrate first.

What is included?

The underwriting engine with automatic conditions and sign-off, the borrower mobile app and online application, LOS and pipeline dashboards, pricing and rate sheets, e-sign, Closing Disclosure and fees, self-building loan officer websites, HR (time clock and user rights) and accounting (automatic journal entries, Plaid bank reconciliation, one-click bill pay). Fully AI-driven underwriting and an AI assistant are coming soon.

Who hosts it?

We do. DirectWare is hosted for every lender, with nothing to install, and each lender's data is kept separate. There is no self-hosted option.

Is DirectWare available today?

DirectWare is coming soon to outside lenders. Request early access to be among the first lenders onboarded.
